Happy Holidays!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday (yeah - I said holiday dammit! What do you expect from a lapsed Catholic pagan lesbian?!?!)

For anyone interested, the move to Pensacola is now definite. Cheryle goes up next week and I have the kids and animals until she finds a place. And then she has the kids and animals until mid Feb when my boss lets me transfer.

We've even started packing - not an easy thing to get motivated to do around the holidays. Okay, so we're throwing away more than we're packing but that's a good thing for a house full of pack rats. Paycheck stubs from 8 years ago? What's wrong with me?

Posting will continue to be sporadic what with packing and moving and all. Maybe once everyone leaves me I'll get bored and lonely and write all the time. Who knows. Meanwhile, I'm finally dipping my toe in the Podcasting waters. That 45 minute commute is going to be a killer - everyone knows how much I hate commercial radio and that I'm too cheap to pay $15 a month for satellite. So since I'm not even close to filling up the Zen hard drive, I may as well enjoy the technology and talent out there - right?

Blogger for Word – now that it’s this easy maybe I’ll finally start posting.  Yeah, I know.  I keep saying I’m going to and I haven’t.  Just like I haven’t worked on the website or done any of the zillion things around the house that need doing.  There just aren’t enough hours in the day.

OMG! A Posting!

I had a whole post written in my head last night and now I can't remember it. It sucks when you get old. It was probably a rant about inappropriate workplace attire - a pet peeve of mine.

I mean, I got an extra 20 pounds since winter that I haven't gotten rid of yet. I sure as hell don't wear anything tight, especially to work. Why women, my age even, think they look good with their stomach rolls emphasized is beyond me. I also don't get the new fashion trend of people showing off their bellies - not their abs mind you. Geez people - go up a pant size or two and wear a shirt that actually fits - Please!

Okay, there have been some issues with email to the blog. Since that's the easiest way for me to post, I'm going to have to do some research. I'm on vacation in 4 hours so I should have some time to play next week. Woohoo!
